Please note that this will be the final year we organise the Dachshunds United Christmas Card Exchange. We thank all the loyal participants over the years for making this such a great event and hope to stay in touch.
Who can participate?
Everyone who loves the dachshund breed is welcome. You don’t need to own a dachshund to join. Multiple people from the same household may participate - please submit one form per person.

Is it free?
Participation is free. I organize this every year to give back to the dachshund community. Participants are responsible for the cost of their own cards and postage. Please make sure to check the current (international) postage fees before comitting to a certain amount of cards - it has become expensive over the years.
How does it work?
Fill in the form below by Friday November 27
By submitting the form you agree that your contact details will be shared with your assigned pen pals and that you will be added to our mailing list (you may opt out at any time). We will never sell your information but will store it digitally for the purpose of this event.
Choose how many pen pals you’d like and if you want to send cards internationally. If you are not from the USA, you will be matched with international pen pals most likely not from your country.
You’ll receive your matches by email on or before December 1.
Please mail your cards by December 7 (allow extra time for international postage). Not making the deadline is not a reason to not send your cards still.
It is strictly prohibited to share the personal information of your pen pals with others.
Sending small gifts is allowed but not expected - please be mindful that people have different budgets.
